Delete Your Account
Effective date: September 2, 2026
You can delete your FetchFiles account and its data at any time, either in the app or by emailing us. FetchFiles is developed by Fetch Files LLC.
Option 1: Delete in the app (fastest)
- Open the FetchFiles app and sign in.
- On the Home tab, tap the settings (gear) icon to open Account.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Confirm, then type CONFIRM and submit.
Your account and data are deleted immediately.
Option 2: Request deletion by email
If you can’t access the app, email connect@fetch-files.com with the subject “Delete my FetchFiles account.” Send it from the email address on your account (or include that address) so we can verify the request.
We’ll confirm by email and complete the deletion within 30 days, usually much sooner.
What gets deleted
| Data | What happens |

| Account | Email, password, name, Sign in with Apple link, and profile photo are deleted. |
| Pets you own | Pet profiles, photos, records, visits, and all attached documents are deleted. |
| Files you uploaded | Documents you uploaded are deleted, including ones on pets shared with you. |
| Caregiver access | Access you granted to others and access others granted to you are removed. Pets owned by other people stay with their owners. |
| Share links | All share links you created are deleted and stop working. |
| Premium | Your FetchFiles subscription record is deleted with the account. The Apple or Google subscription keeps renewing until you cancel it in the store. |
| Blocks | Your block list and blocks involving you are deleted. |
What we keep, and for how long
- Safety reports. Reports you submitted, or that others submitted about you, are kept to keep the Service safe. The link to your account is removed.
- Backups. Copies may remain in encrypted backups for up to 30 days before they are overwritten.
- Server logs. Standard logs kept by our hosting providers (Vercel and Supabase) are retained for a limited operational period and then deleted.
- Legal obligations. We may keep information where required by law, or to resolve disputes or enforce our Terms.
- Waitlist. A website waitlist entry is separate from your app account. Email us to have it deleted too.
Anything you already shared outside FetchFiles, such as files someone downloaded from a share link, is outside our control.
